Seoul Day 3 - 宗庙, MyeongDong, Namsam Nseoul Tower

Come to Seoul die die must visit one temple de, cos they got a lot of historical temple. I also dunno why we choose this but is recommended by some webbie, not the 天书. The best is, it is near our apt(2 subway station away)! hahaha...

We went to jongno-3-ga station (钟路三街) where the Jongmyo or 宗庙 is near to hoping to find some breakfast on the way but we failed! Then we went to a shopping complex which sells jewelery and tried our luck on their food court. Only like 3 stalls opened and all of them dunno how to speak English! GG man, so again we point at the pictures again...

too bad is not open is not i will try the coffee really gusto or not?

the above all 4 pics is my set meal! haha. is really nice loh esp the soup got egg and tofu and is spicy!

Then we went to the 宗庙, entrance is free got elderly thus we can see a lot of elders inside. Is more like a park to them! hahahaa.

this is actually pine tree but we call it '中指'树

nice? 3 diff colours

trying to act like in 古装 show to poke through the paper window

name of the kings and his queens

Jongmyo Shrine was built to hold the ancestral tablets for the kings of the Chosun Dynasty. Thus is a highly respected place and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage in 1995.

Sinwibongando, notice the roof is flat.

Sinwibongando is the first place to hold the 19 ancestral tablets of the kings and queens

Yeongnyeongjeon was an addition bcos Sinwibongando was full

the centre is elevated unlike Sinwibongando bcos it holds the 4 generation of King Taejo, founder of the Choson Dynasty

We wanted to go to cityhall to see the nice riverfront and their "padang" but all was marred but the crowd who went to pay respect to their late president. The crowd is damn 夸张 lah, and there were a lot of 镇暴警察 to seal some of the subway exit. Also it started to rain so we gave up and went to MyeongDong cos is near to our next destination Nseoul Tower! hahaha...
